Central is based in Walnut Creek, California, with 6,700 employees primarily across North America.

Our journey begins when Central Garden Supply is founded by Bill Brown

Central Garden & Pet Company is incorporated; Central Garden Supply is merged into the new entity

1993

Central Garden & Pet goes public on the NASDAQ stock exchange

Central acquires some of our most popular pet brands Four Paws, TFH Publications, Nylabone and Kaytee Products

Central purchased Wellmark to form Central Life Sciences

Central acquires Pennington Seed
