Central is home to a leading portfolio of more than 65 high-quality brands, including Amdro®, Aqueon®, Cadet®, C&S®, Farnam®, Ferry-Morse®, Four Paws®, Kaytee®, Nylabone®, and Pennington®, as well as strong manufacturing and distribution capabilities and a passionate, entrepreneurial growth culture. Central is based in Walnut Creek, California, with 6,450 employees, primarily across North America.

Our journey begins when Central Garden Supply is founded by Bill Brown
1992

Central Garden & Pet Company is incorporated; Central Garden Supply is merged into the new entity
1993

1993

Central Garden & Pet goes public on the NASDAQ stock exchange

Central acquires some of our most popular pet brands Nylabone, Four Paws, TFH Publications, and Kaytee Products

Central purchased Wellmark to form Central Life Sciences

Central acquires Pennington Seed
